Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Savorias ("we", "us") handles personal data. It covers two separate things: people who join our waitlist on this website, and businesses we contact directly about their public reviews. If you received an email from us and are looking for the second one, it is further down this page.

Waitlist — what we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect the email address you submit, your preferred language, and basic technical context (such as the page that referred you). We do not collect payment information or run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

We use your email solely to notify you about our launch and early-access availability, based on the consent you give when joining the waitlist. You can withdraw consent and ask us to delete your data at any time.

We retain waitlist data until launch onboarding is complete or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.

Businesses we contact about their reviews

If you run a business and received an email from us about your Google reviews, this section is the one that applies to you. You did not give us your details, so we are telling you directly what we hold and where it came from.

Where we got your information

From your business's public Google Maps listing, which we read in the same way any customer could. That gives us your business name and address, your rating and review counts, the reviews customers have published there, and the phone number or website you have chosen to publish. Your email address was obtained separately — from your own website, or from a public business directory. We do not buy contact lists.

What we do with it

We analyse the published reviews to produce a one-page summary of what your customers are saying, and we send you a link to it. Producing that summary involves passing the review text to a large language model (see the processors listed below). We do this because a concrete example of our work is a more honest way to introduce a review-analysis product than a description of it would be.

Our lawful basis, and your right to disagree with it

We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): our interest in offering a relevant service to businesses that visibly have the problem it addresses, balanced against your interest in not being contacted. We have written that balancing test down and will send you a copy on request. You have an absolute right to object to processing on this basis — see "Your rights" below — and if you do, we stop, permanently.

Reviewers, not just businesses

The summaries quote short phrases from reviews. Before publishing any quote we automatically remove ones containing a name, an email address, a phone number, a link or a social handle, and we discard anything ambiguous rather than risk publishing someone's name. We do not contact reviewers and we do not build profiles of them.

Who else processes it

Google (the source listing, and the model that analyses review text), Supabase (database hosting), Cloudflare (website and page hosting) and Resend (email delivery). Some of these are based outside the EU; where that is the case, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We delete a prospective customer's data within twelve months of the last contact, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete it sooner. If you object or ask to be removed, we keep only your email address on a suppression list — the minimum needed to make sure we never contact you again — and delete everything else.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and Brazil under LGPD), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@savorias.com. Replying to any email we sent you works just as well — you do not have to use a particular form of words, and we do not ask you to justify the request.
